Founded in 2011, Hubei Heno Biological Engineering Co., Ltd. is a national high-tech enterprise, national-level specialized, refined, distinctive and innovative "Little Giant" enterprise, and a 5G fully connected factory. We focus on tobacco recycling and specialize in the R&D, production and sales of natural nicotine and its derivatives.

The company holds full set of rare core industry qualifications, including the Tobacco Monopoly Production License and Work Safety License. It has obtained the Pharmaceutical Production License — the world’s first license approved for natural nicotine extraction process, securing its leading position in the high-end segment of the industry.

Boasting strong industrial capacity, the company can process over 60,000 tons of tobacco annually with a nicotine production capacity of more than 600 tons. Our core products are widely applied in three major sectors: novel tobacco products, biopharmaceutical formulations and new materials. We provide one-stop full-chain services including customized R&D, production line design, technical consultation and operation management.

We have built a stable and sufficient supply chain through strategic cooperation with tobacco enterprises across 19 provinces in China, with an annual raw material procurement volume of 4 million tons. Leveraging the digital twin factory and 5G plus industrial internet, we realize intelligent control and full-lifecycle traceability throughout production. Implementing ISO9001 quality system, the company has led the formulation of the world’s only provincial special standard for natural nicotine production technology, with product quality meeting international standards.

Committed to technological innovation, the company owns 107 intellectual property rights. We established the Heno Nicotine Research Institute in collaboration with top institutions including the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Peking University and Wuhan University of Technology, to expand high-value applications of nicotine and accelerate the industrialization of research achievements.
